  When I moved in almost everything needed to be fixed. The bar in my closet was starting to come apart (it looks like would fall any day), the toilet in the bathroom by the door hardly flushes (there always looks like there is sand in there), one of the lightbulbs in the kitchen was out, there was a dent in the front door, the sliding door to the patio was broken (the slider still doesn't work after they got me a new one, doesn't lock). The countertops are white and just painted over, the counter chipped as I lived in my unit. There were a lot of issues with the apartment and I didn't go through everything on the damage checklist because I was already tired of filling it out and wanted to get settled. You have to run the dryer twice just to get your clothes dry, electricity bill ends up being ridiculous. There is never ANY parking spots. I got home late from work at 11-11:30 pm, I would have to park on the other side of the complex from my apartment. At night they had lights out over by the area where we take the dogs to the bathroom and mailboxes. It isn't safe, someone could get mugged or worse. The pool lights aren't on half the time. The pool seems to always be dirty. The maintenance guys always seem to be riding around the property in golf carts going across the street to Good Sense. They take a couple of days before fixing whatever issue is wrong with your apartment. At least one of the pools seems to always be closed for some sort of maintenance. Our pool was closed for weeks and the maintenance crew still isn't done with whatever they were doing. We were charged 56 dollars for cable regardless on if you use it. When we tried to set up the mini box to save money there were only about 15 channels not the 99 we were told and half of them weren't in English. We were going to break the lease and move out a month early, but when we saw how much we had to pay, we backed out. We just moved out for good. The rate you are given when you apply is not what you pay for. I was given a rate of $825, I’ve paid $977 and up. When I fell on hard times during the holidays and couldn't pay the rent on time I got a notice the next day and had to pay about 1075 both November and December. When we wanted to leave once our lease was coming to an end, they wanted us to give a 60 day notice. We talked to Liz and she said that we just had to pay the prorated rent along with the water, trash and sewer. We are glad to be out of Fountain Palms. For the most part everyone is nice, I never had an issue with anyone being rude, but I could tell certain staff members weren't thrilled that we were leaving. Liz is a great property manager, she is reasonable and accommodating. We didn't get a chance to really interact with the new staff members, but they seemed nice. However management as a whole needs some work, there is a disconnect on what is required when moving out. They need to all be on the same page. Now on to the good: spacious floor plans, washer and dryer in unit spacious closet, linen closet, close to freeways.

  And again my wife and I. We have been living here for a year and a half now. the property manager yet still continues to inpress us. The maintenance teem is top notch. Our air conditioning went out and it was fixed the next day. Just before triple diget temperatures hit us. Couldn't Thank you enough
